Open to all high school students (Grades 9–12) and college students
CFP (Connect for Purpose), a nonprofit organization dedicated to youth empowerment and community engagement, proudly presents the 100+ Hour Volunteer Award. This prestigious award recognizes students who show outstanding dedication to community service and leadership. By volunteering 100 hours or more, participants will gain personal growth, leadership skills, and meaningful recognition for their efforts.
Why Earn the CFP Presidential Volunteer Award?
Upon completing the minimum requirement of 100 volunteer hours, recipients will receive:
- A Formal Certificate of Achievement
Tangible proof of your commitment to service—great for college or job applications.
(Note: The official White House Presidential Service Award is currently on hold, but we hope it will resume soon.)
- Special Recognition at the Annual CFP Awards Ceremony
Celebrate your accomplishments with fellow volunteers, leaders, and mentors.
- A Powerful Resume Booster
Like the Girl Scout Gold Award or Eagle Scout distinction, this award highlights leadership, service, and initiative.
Who Can Apply?
All high school students (Grades 9–12) and college students who are motivated to give back to their communities are welcome to join!
Two Flexible Volunteer Tracks
- General Volunteer Track
Perfect for students who prefer a flexible volunteering schedule.
Examples of service:
- CFP events and workshops
- Local nonprofits (poverty, education, environmental efforts, etc.)
- Shelters, hospitals, or faith-based service
- School volunteer activities
Requirements:
- Track hours using the CFP log sheet
- Submit signed proof or confirmation letters from the organizations
- Ihsan Project Track
For student leaders ready to launch their own service project
Modeled after the Girl Scout Gold Award, this track is for changemakers who want to create and lead a project addressing a specific need.
Steps:
- Identify a local issue
- Design and plan a project
- Work with a CFP mentor
- Execute and complete the project
Examples:
- A literacy program for underprivileged youth
- Mental health awareness campaign
- Creating a community garden

Be celebrated at our annual banquet and receive your certificate and medal (Bronze, Silver, or Gold tier).
